Small Town America
Good Morning America,
It occurred to me while I was busy writing for JR's High Traffic On-Line Store that it's easy for me to identify with the millions of people who shop eBay every day. While they might go to eBay because of a lack of time or the tremendous selection of merchandise (changes almost daily) - my reasons lean toward ... the cost of gas.
My family and I live in a small village in rural Michigan (small town America) where there is no stop sign on the main road, there is no traffic signal within 15 miles, there is no variety store, clothing store, shoe store or any store. We drive 45 miles due North to the shopping mall. 25 miles Southwest for a grocery store. Just the cost of gas makes shopping on-line extremely attractive. Being the frugal person than I am shopping eBay saves me money.
But wait ... there is something else eBay offers and you're probably missing out on it. Whether you live in the sticks (like me) or a huge metropolitan city why not become an eBay Seller? Open a storefront on eBay and get rid of all the accumulated stuff in the basement, attic and garage. Sell those gifts that you never seem to unbox. What about the toys your kids have left behind. There is a tremendous demand for vintage toys on eBay. Plus you get shoppers by the millions for less than $20 a month. Strikes me to be much easier than having a yard sale or garage sale. What if you live in a condo with no yard or so far off the beaten path that nobody would come to your yard (like me). You won't have to nail signs on a post, scurry for change at the last minute ... not to mention sit outside for hours on end. List your stuff and sell it. So simple. Clicking Here will get your thirty days FREE.
See you on eBay,
